Overview

The Department of Psychiatry in the College of Medicine, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), invites applications for a forensic psychologist position at the Arkansas State Hospital adjacent to UAMS.  This position will provide court ordered forensic evaluations, in both outpatient and inpatient settings; courtroom testimony may occasionally be required.  Opportunity for a faculty appointment and development of a research program exists.  Competitive salary and benefits. 

Responsibilities

This role in the department will include, although not limited to, conducting forensic assessments at the Arkansas State Hospital. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must have a doctorate in psychology, have received a certificate of completion from a 12 month postdoctoral fellowship in forensic psychology, and be licensed or license-eligible in Arkansas.
