The Cook collaborates with other cooks and food prep techs under the direction of a supervisor to requisition, prepare, season, and cook a wide range of foods, including soups, salads and entrees for patients, employees, or patrons.
Hours: 9:30 a.m. -6:00 p.m. and every other weekend

Salary Range: $19,200 annually ($9.23 hourly) - $24,190 ($11.63 hourly)
High School diploma/GED; plus 2 year experience in institutional or commercial cooking.
Knowlege, abilities, and skills:
Knowledge of food preparation and cooking methods. Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements of a food service facility. Ability to understand and follow recipes and oral instructions. Ability to operate food preparation equipment and utensils. Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
