The HR Sr. Consultant - Organizational Development (OD) is responsible for planning, developing and implementing programs and interventions that focus on individual, team and organizational development in order to improve the capability of leaders, teams, and systems at UAMS.

Consult, coach develop, implement, lead, and evaluate organizational development interventions such as organizational design, change and transition management, culture and strategy alignment, retention and engagement, and individual and team effectiveness, that connect employees with business goals.
Design, develop/create content and facilitate or train on learning opportunities and interventions, identify and evaluate business initiatives to ascertain appropriate programs that meet business unit and company goals.

Master’s degree in Education or Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field required. Five (5) or more years of relevant professional level experience (e.g., leadership development, program design and management, or high impact organizational effectiveness consulting experience) required.
Demonstrated effective internal consulting skills, demonstrated excellent facilitation skills, knowledge of content development and adult learning theories (ADDIE, Kolb’s Learning, etc.), knowledge of full range of organization development interventions and change management frameworks & applications, ability to build strong internal partnerships, work independently in a collaborative setting, manage multiple projects simultaneously, excellent relationship building and teamwork skills, excellent content development, presentation and facilitation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to translate concepts into learning that can be utilized and applied.
Post graduate work or PhD, EdD with concentration in Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or related discipline. Five (5) years Organizational Development work experience. Experience in a healthcare environment and working with senior level management is a plus. Experience working with an LMS and authoring tools is a plus. DDI Training Certification, Mediation Certification, Birkman Certification, MBTI Certification, Change Management certification, Graphic Facilitation certification, Facilitation Certification, and/or Association for Strategic Planning (ASP Certification) preferred.
