    **Position Will Work Variable Shifts, Holidays and Weekends **


    The Patient Ambassador reports to the Supervisor of Hospitality Services and provides staffing for the multiple family hospitality services provided by the Department.  Hospitality Services functions include staffing of the Hospital Information Desks, ICU Waiting Room desks, NICU desk, PRI Information Desks, Cart Drivers, Discharge Lobby Desk, Outside Greeters, One Day Surgery desk, Cancer Institute after hours desk and a Concierge. 


    Salary: $19,635 annually ($9.44 hourly)

    1. Staff Information desks.
    2. Greet patients/families with a positive, customer-focused and appropriate manner, providing directions and information, helping find patient locations and otherwise assisting visitors.
    3. Staff the intensive care units, working with nursing to provide guidance and enforcement of the visitation policies for those units.
    4. Drive the courtesy cart along the prescribed route picking up and assisting patients and families who need help in getting to their destinations.


    High School diploma/GED. Experience in support/hospitality role and customer service in a hospital setting preferred.
