    The Phlebotomist supports all sections of the Clinical Outpatient Laboratory through proper phlebotomy techniques, as well as, proper specimen accessioning, processing and related activities.

    Salary offered commensurate to experience.


    1. Obtains blood specimens from patients by using venipuncture.
    2. Performs various testing procedures according to established laboratory procedures in the lab.
    3. Assures that adequate inventory is on hand to perform a high-level of patient care.
    4. May perform other duties as assigned. 


    High School Diploma/GED plus one (1) year of experience as a phlebotomist OR the successful completion of UAMS Phlebotomy Program.
