    The Manager of Radiology - Ultrasound provides leadership and direction for the day-to-day operational management of one or more diagnostic imaging services.

    Salary: Negotiable

    Responsibilities

    • Plans and organizes staff & facilities to meet customer needs, including recruitment and retention, analyzing staff mix, and ensuring competency of staff through employee development and regular evaluation.
    • Promotes and nurtures team-building and career growth to maximize productivity and job satisfaction. This includes willingness and ability to perform clinical work with direct reports when appropriate.
    • Ensures customer satisfaction by working with customers regarding complaints, concerns and suggestions and providing the appropriate follow-through to ensure a high level of quality care.
    • Monitors the operating budget; reviews and reports significant variances; works with coders to maximize reimbursement and assure appropriate billing practices; develops and promotes measures to stay within budget.
    • Provides leadership and training on all new technologies and evaluates quality of images, procedures, and services to ensure cost effective operations and high quality value to the customer.  Ensures all regulatory requirements are met including State, Federal & Joint Commission requirements.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    Associates Degree  in Science - Radiography plus five (5) years of experience as a working technologist.

    Must have ARMDS Certification. 

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    BS in Radiography, Management or related field.
