  • Overview

    The Program Manager will manage the business operations for the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology 340B program. General responsibilities will include fiscal management of the program by working with key stakeholders to develop and provide oversight of all related 340B financial activities. The program manager will engage in strategic planning to ensure continual program viability and will provide analysis of program outcomes.

    Responsibilities

    (80%)

    • Manage business operations of pharmacy program including oversight and development of budgets. 
    • Oversee and manage program operations including, but not limited to, expenditures, contract negotiations, and supply management. 
    • Manage and review performance of third party biller. 
    • Work directly with third party payers to ensure timely payments. 
    • Work closely with the medical director to develop financial plans for long-term viability and continuity of programs. 
    • Identify and engage appropriate stakeholders in discussions and decisions as appropriate.
    • Serve as program representative and liaison for the department as needed.

    Works directly with the Medical Director of the Program as well as the Director of Finance to develop program Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and make recommendations based on industry changes.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting, or related field plus 5 years of administrative experience required.

     

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks over short and long-term periods. 
    • Must have exceptional skill in business and interpersonal communication, able to think critically and strategically to anticipate and plan for changing needs and demands of the program.
    • Must be responsible for ensuring proper compliance with program protocols and service delivery. 
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word & Excel.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • MBA or Masters degree in Accounting or Public Administration.
    • Medical office or program management experience.
