    The Laboratory Procedure Technician evaluates specimens for the Reference Laboratory.

     Salary offered commensurate to experience.


    1. Orders specimens, gathers and enters results of all specimens for send out to Reference Labs and prints labels.
    2. Consults with physicians and nursing staff regarding proper tests for patients and proper orders for the requested tests.
    3. Provides results to doctors/nurses.
    4. Assures adequate inventory of shipping supplies and reports shortages to supervisor.
    5. Evaluates and modifies workflows to meet the production demands
    6. May perform other duties as assigned. 


    Bachelor's degree in Biology or related field.
