    This is a part-time as needed position (PRN)


    The Medical Laboratory Scientist (PRN) is responsible for processing, staining and analyzing all types of specimens. S/He is expected to keep all instruments in good working condition and be able to aid in instrument repair, along with identifying and notifying the supervisor of instrument malfunctions. S/He should be able to identify abnormal or discrepant results

    Salary:  Commensurate with experience



    1. Receives and directs all specimens for appropriate processing.
    2. Responsible for Instrument Troubleshooting and Quality Assurance
    3. Responsible for Reagents and Assay Development
    4. Performs administrative duties as needed
    5. Participates in student teaching and assisting other personnel as needed
    6. May perform other duties as assigned


    • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Sciences
    • ASCP or AMT certification
    • Must be able to pass registry within one (1) year from date of hire
