    The Diagnostic Radiology Technologist produces radiographic images for medical interpretation, interacts with all healthcare staff, many clerical staff members, all patient care departments and with patient’s families and visitors. This position is held accountable for performing the correct radiologic exams and producing high quality images.

    Salary:  Commensurate with experience


    • Rotates through several modalities, portables on the floors, surgery, fluoro and the emergency department performing x-rays
    • Communicates with patients, patients family member, co-workers, and physicians
    • Continues education and learning new procedures on a day-to-day basis
    • Answers the phones and communicating with different floors in the hospital when needed
    • Other duties may be assigned to this position such as moving C-ARM and OARM’s


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent
    • Graduate of an approved Radiology program and less than one year experience in diagnostic radiology
    • ARRT Registry or registry eligible
    • State of Arkansas Radiation License
    • Current CPR certification

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree
    • More than one year experience in diagnostic radiology or related field
