    The Pharmacy Technician III is an upper level technician position in the Department of Pharmacy will be responsible for drug purchasing systems and financial systems.

    Salary:  Commensurate with experience



    • Performs inventory management of drug and medical supplies
    • Orders and returns medications and supplies as necessary
    • Places inventory into stock
    • Identifies alternative sources of medications and supplies when shortages occur
    • Fill interdepartmental orders and charge the various departments and agencies. 
    • Other Pharmacy Technician III duties as assigned


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • HS Diploma or GED equivalent and one (1) year experience as Pharmacy Technician.
    • Arkansas State Board of Pharmacy - Pharmacy Tech certification required
    • National Technician Certification

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor degree preferred
    • One (1) or more years of experience in purchasing pharmaceutical drugs.
