    The Program Coordinator provides program coordination and administrative support to the Child and Adolescent Division.

    Responsibilities

    1. Coordinates all activities related to the Continuing Medical Education (CMEs) to include creating conference schedules for clinical and research activities, scheduling locations, communicating with all pertinent presenters, faculty, staff, and other providers.
    2. Assists Division faculty across multiple locations in coordinating meetings, presentations, educational activities and maintains research and clinical updates.
    3. Assists with the preparation of documentation for annual faculty review and serves as the point of contact for the Division’s reference manager database.
    4. Collects and maintains up-to-date CVs, publications, grants, patents, speaking engagements, etc. in the database.
    5. Assists with recruiting efforts for new faculty.
    6. Maintains weekly faculty schedule and posting notices; supports the education director; and creates schedule for daytime and night call coverage.
    7. Maintains and updates the Division’s website and is responsible for all copiers, printers, phones, moves, inventory, general office supplies, equipment repair, and facility maintenance.
    8. Ability to interact and develop positive working relationships with a diverse group of professionals at all levels within the organization, community, industry and state and federal governments.

    9. May perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field PLUS at least three (3) years program coordination/administrative experience OR High School Diploma/GED PLUS at least seven (7) years of program coordination/administrative experience
    • Intermediate proficiency with computers (MS Office Suite preferred)
    • Valid Arkansas driver's license
    • Access to reliable transportation with valid and current liability insurance and the willingness to use for work-related travel.

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • SAP, Reference Manager and/or Transcription experience
    • Experience working in higher education
