  • Overview

    The Audiologist will plan and conduct care and treatment to patients for hearing and balance problems, using advanced technology and procedures. The audiologist will work to determine the extent of hearing damage and identify the underlying cause.

    Salary: Negotiable


    Vestibular Tests and Hearing Evaluations - Videonystagmography (VNG), Computerized Dynamic Posturography (CDP), Platform post-urography.


    Hearing Rehabilitation - Includes hearing aid counsel, hearing aid selection, testing & fitting. Electroacoustic analysis of amplification prosthetics. Speech mapping/Real ear measurements. Completes accurate and thorough chart notes and dictation in a timely manner. Provides patient education of procedures to be performed.


    Equipment/supply maintenance - Restocks supplies in audiology rooms/orders hearing aids. Evaluates equipment for repairs.


    Other duties may be assigned to this position.

    • Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks
    • Must be able to a project a professional and positive image
    • Must be able to handle stressful situations and patients without losing the ability to provide customer service
    • Must have the ability to organize work and complete tasks in an efficient manner

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.)
    • Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment
