    Evening Shift 2:00p - 10:30p

     

    The MRI Technologist I produces MRI images for medical interpretation. All UAMS employees will treat others with Dignity and Respect.     Responsibilities

    • Working with ordering and reading physicians through the process of completing MRI procedures
    • Interacts with patients and family members during the entire procedure from prep to completion of the study
    • Communicating with patients, coworkers and physicians through written and verbal forms of communication
    • Continuing education and learning new procedures as they are introduced
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School, GED or formal educational equivalent
    • Ability to Follow Oral Instruction, Read and Write

    • New graduate or less than 1 year experience
    • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Baccalaureate Degree
    • One or more years of experience
    • MRI Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist
