This faculty member will have primary responsibilities for conducting assessment in an outpatient setting with growing opportunity to assist with inpatient consults and the development of multidisciplinary evaluation teams at Arkansas Children’s Northwest. The Schmieding Developmental Center (SDC) provides specialized services to children from birth to 21 years of age with a strong focus on children with neurological disorders, cognitive disorders, genetic disorders, Autism, intellectual disability, chronic medical conditions and sports concussion. Candidates should be comfortable with all children ages 4 and up and willing to extend their skills downward to the evaluation of infants and toddlers.

The faculty position would be at a rank determined by years of experience. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in clinical psychology or PsyD from and APA approved program and post-doctoral training in developmental psychology, pediatric psychology, or neuropsychology.
Candidates with a specific interest in a younger age group and comfort with questions related to Autistic Spectrum Disorder are in this patient group are desired.
