    The Application Systems Analyst Intermediate supports IT Patient Systems applications Grand Central/Prelude.

    • Acts semi-independently under general supervision, requiring some instruction and guidance. 
    • Supports team’s primary application(s) and also works to gain an increased understanding of overall system integration and functionality.
    • Builds system components, testing, implementation support and maintenance of assigned system applications.
    • Performs analysis, trouble shooting and data collection, and then reports findings related to reported system issues.
    • Analyzes/reviews and tests each product release and communicates needed changes to operations.
    • Documents and follows system change control procedures.
    • Works closely with other analysts, software vendors and operations to ensure that system integrity is maintained and that IT deliverables meet operational business needs.
    • Researches, analyzes, and works with other team members to facilitate and implement business and system workflows in order to expedite process improvement and coordinate business practices.
    • Identifies best practices and works with team to implement opportunities for standardization.
    • Prepares activity and other reports as necessary.
    • Provides some guidance and mentoring to more junior analysts.
    • Attains and maintains required certifications, as applicable, in a timely manner according to policy.
    • Provides On-Call support for applications.
    • Other duties as assigned


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma-7yrs IT experience or clinical/operational experience or any combination of the two OR Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Health-care or related field or study plus 3 yrs IT experience or clinical/operational experience or any combination of the two.  
    • Epic Cadence and Prelude Certification-Must be certified or obtain certification within one year from date of hire.
    • Two (2) years experience in Health-care with supporting Patient Scheduling, Patient Registration, Patient Access, or Ambulatory clinic operations OR 2 yrs experience administering a software application used for patient scheduling, patient registration, patient access, or managing ambulatory clinic operations.
    • Two (2) years experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and/or PowerPoint)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor Degree
    • One (1) year of experience with two or more of the following: software implementation, software testing, software table maintenance, forms design, report writing
    • One (1) year Project Management and the use of PM tools or comparable tools to:  Microsoft Visio Project, Project Server, and/or SharePoint
