    The Program Coordinator’s primary purpose is to perform administrative functions providing support to the Director of Education, but will work in a supportive role to the Nurse Educator of the Home Caregiver Training Program. This position will be responsible for all business aspects of SACOA including purchasing, building operations, travel arrangements and data entry. Position will also be responsible for monitoring and managing accounts for both SACOA and Schmieding Training program and will work with the Director to complete all monthly, quarterly and annual reports.

    Salary offered commensurate with experience


    • Processes SAP procurement including purchase requisitions, framework orders, grant purchasing, travel requisitions, and accounting reports.
    • Reports and maintains all office equipment including printers, phone systems, tele-medicine equipment, and computers.
    • Maintains master calendars for the Home Caregiver Training Program including annual training schedules for the site.
    • Assists in ensuring all data for the program and grant activities are collected and input into the Arkansas Aging Initiative database.
    • Compiles quarterly reports of training statistics using the AAI database.
    • Ensures all AAI educational programs, health & exercise classes, and all other activities are entered into AAI database
    • Maintains a marketing program with program directors to communicate services offered by center.
    • Organizes and facilitates with the community, health care professionals, and academic departments, continuing medical and public education programs.
    • Maintains system records of educational programs as required by accrediting agencies.
    • Provides daily supervision of general office functions such as answering telephones, greeting customers, handling requests for resource services.
    • Plans and organizes special projects, events, meetings, etc. for center.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • HS diploma/GED or formal educational equivalent
    • 10 years of experience in Administration, Business, or a related field.

    Preferred Qualification:

    • Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of experience in Administration, Business, or related field.
