    Schedule: 7:30am to 4pm Day Shift

    Heat and AC Mechanic will diagnose, repair, and maintain all components of the UAMS campus HVAC system.

    Salary: $39,500 Annually ($18.99 hourly)


    1. Interacts with and assists the public in a professional and friendly manner.
    2. Demonstrates effective communication skills and communicates information.
    3. Handles HVAC systems: Air Handlers, Pumps, A/C Package units, Control valves, and coils. 
    4. Diagnosis, repairs, and maintains ice machines, refrigerators, exhaust fans, and fan coil units.
    5. May perform other duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    High school diploma/GED plus 3 years HVAC installation and repair experience.


    Preferred Qualifications:

    2 year technical degree in HVAC or Electronics.

    EPA refrigerant certification.
