    Testing Coordinator works to ensure that UAMS students have comfortable and successful testing experience in the Student Success Center (SSC).

    Responsibilities

    1. Maintains and applies expert knowledge of Testing Center policies, practices, and procedures.
    2. Administers tests/exams and confirms testing equipment is operational and the testing area is clean and organized.
    3. Greets students and verify identification and that the student has signed-in to test.
    4. Ensures all student belongings are locked away and that students only have allowed materials for testing.
    5. Contacts teaching faculty with any testing issues.
    6. Monitors students while testing; collects evidence of misconduct.
    7. Retrieves scratch paper and sends any documentation to teaching faculty.
    8. Communicates issues with testing center staff and/or SSC technical support.   
    9. Maintains Student Success Center (SSC) testing calendars and database.
    10. Monitors testing email inbox for testing requests.
    11. Schedules tests and testing equipment/rooms on the testing calendars.
    12. Notifies Testing Coordinator and SSC staff of changes and special circumstances about testing and testing equipment.
    13. Coordinates supply orders and marketing events/orientations.
    14. Evaluates testing center usage.
    15. Helps plan, create and implement an evaluation for testing.
    16. Assists with writing the SSC annual report.
    17. May perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Associates Degree with 3 years of Administrative experience working in a service-oriented environment OR High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years Administrative experience working in a service-oriented environment 
    • Intermediate proficiency with computers preferably with Microsoft Office Outlook and Outlook calendars
    • Electronic and physical organizational skills
    • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods and perform walk-throughs

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience working in a testing center/environment
    • Experience in an academic health sciences center or institution of higher education
