  • Overview

    The Physical Therapist will be responsible for examinations/evaluations, which include development of treatment plans and patient goals and daily treatments.

    Salary:  Commensurate with experience

    Responsibilities

    • Perform assessments and re-assessments with revised plans of care and/or discharge summaries
    • Screen patients to determine appropriateness of therapy
    • Execute daily treatments which may consist of:
      • gait training,
      • transfer training,
      • functional mobility,
      • balance training,
      • endurance training,
      • strength training,
      • therapeutic exercise, and
      • patient and family education
    • Maintain appropriate patient documentation per department, HIPAA and TJC standards where applicable.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
    • Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy license or eligible to apply for licensure required 

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master's degree OR Doctorate in Physical Therapy
    • Geriatric Experience
