  • Overview

    The Research Assistant (RA) will work with the Principal Investigator, research community partners and study participants to conduct interviews, coordinate meetings, maintain transcription records, conduct data analysis and assist with dissemination of study findings. The RA will manage data quality control and manage other administrative aspects of the project such as maintain regulatory binders, management of petty cash/reimbursement accounts, and other duties as assigned.

    This is a provisional position.  Provisional positions are funded by external grants or contracts with established end dates.  When the grant expires or is not extended, the provisional position will be eliminated.  Employees in provisional positions may apply for other positions at UAMS when their provisional position ends.

    Salary:  Negotiable

    Responsibilities

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor Degree in Business, Administration, Public Policy, Science or health related field and 3 years of administrative experience in research or grants management.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Master Degree in Business, Administration, Science or health related field and 3 years of administrative experience in research or grants management.
    • Certified Research Specialists (CRS)

    Required Skills/Licenses:

    • Advanced computer program experience in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Quantitative/qualitative analytics database knowledge
