    The Administrative Analyst is responsible for the research, retrieval and follow-up of credits on accounts or refund requests within the Faculty Group Practice. The Administrative Analyst gathers information to assure correctness of account activity and is responsible for verification and retrieval of payments with extensive knowledge of the application of the billing system.

    Salary: $29,251 Annual ($14.06 Hourly)


    • Audits accounts making necessary corrections, refunds and adjustments.
    • Resolves the accounts by using accounting principles and knowledge of agencies and third party carriers’ regulations.
    • Reports trends found in the course of auditing accounts, to management.
    • Suggests changes in procedures to prevent future credits.
    • Contacts Customer Service at each carrier site to obtain and verify most current billing practices and regulations.
    • May prepare reports as requested.
    • Assists with other patient billing information and activities.
    • Maintains current information on department policies and procedures, and attends insurance carrier –provided training as needed and performs other duties and responsibilities as needed.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree OR High School Diploma/GED plus 4 years of and experience in health insurance and bookkeeping OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
