    Patient Food Service - Food Preparation Supervisor Temporary


    The Food Preparation Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of food service personnel, directing food service activities, monitoring security and safety practices, coordinating the production and serving of food, ordering supplies, and the preparation of reports. This person covers the weekend supervisor shifts

    Salary: $24,065 annually ($11.57 hourly)


    • Coordinates with production about the amount of foods to prepare and instructs workers accordingly.
    • Ensures the food is delivered correctly and timely to the patients
    • Assures adherence to local, state and JACHO regulations and oversees job training. Inspects food before service for taste, appearance, temperatures and quality.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School diploma/GED plus 2 years of experience in institutional or commercial food service operations including 1 year supervisory or leadership experience.
