    **This is a part-time (50%) position**

     

    The Administrative Analyst coordinates key department administrative activities. This position provides general administrative support to Neurology faculty. This position is a College of Medicine position that is primarily responsible for department administrative functions and the academic and research missions of the department.

     Salary:$14.06 hourly

    Responsibilities

    • May maintain faculty calendars, assist with hospital privileges, file, copy, scan, receive and send faxes, triage phone calls, document preparation, meeting arrangements, data gathering, and various other administrative tasks related to support of faculty. May assist advance practice nurses with administrative tasks as appropriate.
    • Research and manage special projects as needed.
    • Purchasing and Travel.
    • Back up as needed for Administrative Analyst who is primarily responsible for these activities.
    • Staples/Stock Room orders.
    • Back up as needed for Administrative Specialist who is primarily responsible for these activities.
    • Liaison to campus Telecommunications.
    • Follow up and resolve issues related to telephones, faxes, and beepers.
    • Order phones Maintain department phone and fax number lists.
    • Enter or change phone numbers through ESS so Outlook is correct.
    • Monitor faxes.
    • Perform other tasks/projects as they arise.
    • MDA grant payments.
    • Process foundation Payments.
    • Process IDTS.
    • Assist Residency Coordinator in preparing CCC reports (May and Dec.).
    • Assist Residency Coordinator with setting up and implementing Research Day.
    • Assist Residency Coordinator with logging resident conference attendance in New Innovations.
    • Assist Residency Coordinator during interview season with file preparation and data compilation, building folders and treat bags.
    • On interview days assist with setting up the room, lunch service, and clean up.
    • Assist Residency Coordinator with graduation. Assist with planning, money/tickets, printing, and logistics and set up on the day.
    • Assist Clerkship Coordinator with various activities as needed.
    • This may include activities such as making copies, compiling packets, assisting with events (orientation, presentations, exams) etc.
    • Miscellaneous education program related duties as needed.
    • Coordinate Stroke Committee meeting monthly. Agenda and minutes for Stroke Meeting.
    • Transcribe Letters of Recommendation or any other requested document.
    • Coordinate Joint Commission yearly scheduled visit with Matt Mitchell.
    • Make sure “Orders” are signed and faxed immediately by all faculty.
    • Special Projects for research.
    • Provide back up when other administrative staff are out of the office.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree OR High School diploma/GED plus 4 years of administrative experience required.
