  • Overview

    The Post Doctoral Fellow is expected to work on federal grant funded research projects, which aim to understand how prenatal/postnatal environmental influences as well as nutrition/lifestyle during childhood potentially affect infant and children’s brain development.

    This is a provisional position funded by an external grant or contract.  Continued employment in this position is reliant upon grant (or contract) funding continuation.

     Salary is based on experience

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement advanced MRI methods for neonatal/pediatric neuroimaging.
    • Produce high quality MRI data acquisition and management.
    • Develop sophisticated brain imaging data analysis using cutting-edge tools.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • A PhD in physics, biomedical engineering, neuroscience, or related field required. (MD with relevant research experience and seeking additional research training before residency can also be considered)
    • Experience in neuroimaging MRI data acquisition and analysis
    • Demonstrated record of research publication
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
