    Dietetic Technician  (PRN - will work as needed)-UTEMPS


    The Dietetic Technician (PRN) is responsible for daily routines and functions in order to see that all patients receive meals in a timely fashion and the meals meet the Physician order and patient preferences.

    Salary: $14.00 hourly



    • Writes nutritional assessment of patient's needs by gathering and interpreting medical and social records and submits to supervisor for approval.
    • Reviews and maintains files of diet orders and nourishment to inform food services of patient's needs.
    • Informs physician of patient's dietary problems, including requesting reviews or renewals of diet orders.
    • Takes patient’s meal order and delivering the food to them.
    • May perform other duties as assigned.


    High School diploma/GED plus 2 years’ experience in customer service. Ideal candidate is team-oriented and has great customer service skills.

    Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a food service or patient care setting
