The Social Worker is responsible for managing and providing guidance for staff involved in bilingual navigation and contact tracing related to COVID-19. S/He will also be involved in plans management and processes, quality control, developing processes and procedures for tracking participant outcomes and process for identifying implementation methods. The Social Worker works closely with staff to ensure that the case management process is implemented appropriately and addresses any issues identified by community-based team members in case management process. Some travel required (5% to 10%).

Salary: $41,895 annually


  • Provides consultation and management of contact tracing process and procedures.
  • Works with team members to ensure effective implementation and care navigation and performs quality checks for case management plans delivery.
  • Responsible for performing fidelity checks on educational sessions which involves relationship management with community-based organization partners performing education to participants.
  • Addresses deviations or other issues/concerns with quality of education.
  • Ensures that sessions meet program milestones and timeline.
  • Works with data team to monitor data quality and creates process improvement plans for improved care navigation services.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with community-based organizations, program participants, and other community stakeholders.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
  • Four (4) years of care management or coordination experience
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint)
  • Valid drivers' license required with current liability automobile insurance and reliable transportation for moderate travel to UAMS in Little Rock, AR and surrounding communities (mileage reimbursed at the current state mileage reimbursement rate) if a state vehicle is not available. Occasional out-of-state travel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)


  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications (verbal and written) skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and interdependently
  • Ability to work under deadline pressure
