Web Manager

The Web Manager will report directly to the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI) Director of Communications and will be the primary point person for managing the content and site architecture for the ACHI website. This person will work collaboratively with other members of the ACHI team to contribute to the overall mission of being a catalyst for positive progress in the health policy arena.

Salary offered commensurate with experience.

• Maintain the ACHI website using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.
• Work with online content to ensure user friendliness while promoting search engine optimization.
• Identify problems uncovered by testing or user feedback, correct problems, and/or refer problems to appropriate party for correction.
• Evaluate website to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.
• Create timelines and track progress of multiple projects.
• Communicate project status to the Director of Communications.
• Work in cooperation with ACHI staff to develop strategic and tactical plans to facilitate and coordinate execution of the organization’s web presence.
• Proactively interact with fellow employees in an effort to create, develop, prepare, manage, edit, and proof content for the ACHI website.
• Analyze website traffic and develop regular reports.
• Design and build digital elements as required by ACHI subject matter experts.
• Understand user experience and help determine content flow and navigation of website.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

 

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, web design or related field.
• Four (4)years of project coordination experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Four (4) years of web project management experience
• Experience with SEO, SEM, newsletter platforms such as Mailchimp, Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop, WordPress and SQL
