The Research Associate III position is available to assist in the management of laboratory operations and to conduct scientific research, particularly in the area of our NIH-funded project of DNA replication. Laboratory management will include procuring laboratory supplies, assisting in the diagnosis and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment, reagents, or procedures and generating reagents for the entire research group. The scientific research responsibilities will be based on experience, needs, and interests. These may include protein purification, molecular biology, biochemical assays, crystallization trials, and/or working towards cryo-EM structure determination with local and national facilities.
