Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift


The Medical Assistant (MA) provides direct patient care to assigned patients in the Women's Center. The MA works under the direct supervision of the clinic nurse(s) by assisting in the examination and treatment of patients.

Salary offered commensurate with experience.


  • Collects patient data
  • Performs vital signs and utilize skills such as phlebotomy
  • Performs EKG's, dressing changes, set up for and assist provider with procedures and examinations
  • Coordinates appointments, referrals, consults, tests and/or procedures
  • Responds appropriately to the requirements of third-party payers requesting medical records and surgery scheduling
  • Check-in and registers patients, check-out and collects payments and issues receipts, verifies insurance coverage
  • Assist with prior authorizations 

May perform other duties as assigned



  • High School Diploma/GED plus successful completion of Medical Assistant Training from an Accredited Program.         


  • Experience in an ambulatory care setting.
