The Mental Health Professional at UAMS STRIVE provides direct clinical services, including but not limited to, diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, collateral intervention, and crisis intervention to patients. Services are provided primarily in the office, community or home setting based on patient need and pay source permissions. The MHP must meet a clinical productivity/service access expectation as set by the supervisor and the department. S/He completes clinical and administrative processes and documentation in compliance with relevant policies and procedures; and participates in staff meetings, training, supervision, and continuing education activities as needed to maintain quality and coordination of care as well as professional licensure and/or certification.
