The Program Manager will manage the business operations for the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology 340B program. General responsibilities will include fiscal management of the program by working with key stakeholders to develop and provide oversight of all related 340B financial activities. The program manager engages in strategic planning to ensure continual program viability and provides analysis of program outcomes.

Salary offered commensurate with experience.


  • Manages business operations of pharmacy program including oversight and development of budgets. 
  • Oversees and manages program operations including, but not limited to, expenditures, contract negotiations, and supply management. 
  • Manages and reviews performance of third party biller. 
  • Works directly with third party payers to ensure timely payments. 
  • Works closely with the medical director to develop financial plans for long-term viability and continuity of programs. 
  • Serve as program representative and liaison for the department as needed.     
  • responsible for ensuring proper compliance with program protocols and service delivery.
  • Works directly with the Medical Director of the Program as well as the Director of Finance to develop program Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and make recommendations based on industry changes.
  • Other duties as assigned by division and department leadership.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Accounting or related field plus four (4) years of project/program management or related experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word & Excel).
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or Masters degree in Accounting or Public Administration.
  • Medical office or program management experience.
  • Experience working with commercial insurance companies.
  • Experience with EHR systems (e.g. EPIC).
  • Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of UAMS and with external parties.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to generate and explain reports
  • Ability to track and reconcile commercial payer activity.
  • Ability to document and explain workflows/procedures..
