The HR Solutions Center Consultant provides excellent customer service for employees by answering general questions (Tier I), regarding all HR related activities. They act as a bridge to connect employees with available HR resources to facilitate problem resolution.

Salary:  Negotiable


Transaction Processing:

  • Performs back-office transactions for general HR data processing in support of HR functions, including running ad hoc and scheduled reports, data entry, data reconciliation, mailings, and filing, sending correspondence, sorting and routing incoming mail.
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
  • Manages and maintains employee files through Application Extender.
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs.

Specialize in HR processes and COE’s (Centers of Excellence):

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the SAP and Workday HR platforms.
  • Accurately documents employee calls and in person activity.
  • Ensures proper triage, escalation and effective resolution of higher-level issues.

Customer Service:

  • Builds customer trust through empathetic personalized conversations.
  • Builds and maintains effective business relationships with all departments.
  • Assesses employee needs and provides accurate information on HR related topics.
  • Meets acceptable standards of metrics such as hold time, length of call, transfers, etc. established by manager and/or HR leadership.

Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Applied Communication, Business Administration or related field of study OR a High School diploma/GED plus four (4) years of general Human Resources experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SHRM-CP or PHR Certification.
  • Knowledge of SAP, payroll, FMLA and other state and federal policies experience.
  • Experience in an Academic Medical Center or Hospital setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills needed with the ability to communicate well in a diverse work environment.
  • Solid working knowledge of HR process and systems.
