Adult Outpatient Therapist (LCSW or LPC)

The Adult Outpatient Therapist (LCSW or LPC) at the Psychiatric Research Institute provides direct clinical services such as diagnostic assessment, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and crisis intervention to patients. The clinical services are provided in the office unless remote work agreement is available upon hire. 

 

The work environment is a modern outpatient psychiatric setting with spacious, light-filled offices and pleasant common areas. This position works with a multi-disciplinary team, serving voluntary clients/patients.

Salary offered commensurate with experience.

• Responsible for maintaining caseload by contacting patients and discharging as appropriate.
• Responsible for direct and indirect clinical services that are provided in the office unless remote work agreement is available upon hire. 
• Makes decisions related to treatment planning.
• Understands mental health diagnosis and treatment.
• Responsible for ongoing communications with supervisor and other members of the treatment team.
• Completes clinical and administrative processes and documentation within the electronic medical record system in compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Participates in staff meetings, trainings, supervision, and continuing education activities as needed to maintain quality provision and coordination of care as well as professional licensure and/or certification.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work
• One (1) year of direct clinical post-graduate behavioral health experience or comparable clinical experience 
• Licensed by the Arkansas Professional Board (LCSW or LPC)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three (3) or more years of direct clinical outpatient behavioral health experience
• Evidenced-based treatment background
• Experience using trauma-informed care model
