Analysis and Design – Hardware and Software • Assessment of users’ system requirements taking into consideration existing UAMS computing environment. Utilization of IT Governance to communicate policy changes as well as system changes that impact how a customer will use systems. Grants Administration The Program Manager will work with the IDHI ACL Program Manager and IDHI Trauma Assistant Director to assure that all required program objectives of the Administration for Community Living grant are met. The Program Manager will coordinate with IDHI staff and outside stakeholders to arrive at a plan, monitor its execution, and disseminate accurate reporting on the grant.   Public Communications The program Website, social media, patient education, survivor stories, and newsletter will continue to be developed and administered by the Program Manager with assistance from the Project Manager. The Program Manager will update information to the website and social media with regards to state programs and current topics and information for families and individuals with traumatic injuries. The Program Manager will provide oversight to maintain accuracy of the information and encourage utilization of the website and social media by the general public and healthcare providers in Arkansas. The Program Manager is also responsible for producing and editing any publications or newsletters communicating the mission and activities of the IDHI Trauma Program.   Outreach This will include but is not limited to implementation of the return to learn program, public meetings such as support groups, survivors’ day recognitions, presentations at community organizations, meeting with community stakeholders, facilitate the Certified Brain Injury Specialist course (CBIS), CBIS Fundamentals course, and professional organization display booths. Outreach will require occasional travel and some overnight stays. The Program Manager will continually support advocacy for persons living with traumatic injuries and their families. Communicates and coordinates with other members of IDHI Trauma to provide continuity of care as they return to their community.   TBI Registry The Program Manager will monitor and maintain the TBI Registry, through review TBI registry application, TBI registry data from participating hospitals, education of hospital staff on utilization of TBI registry and updates to protocols or policies for TBI registry, and distribution of TBI information to but not limited to, participating hospitals. Reports will be provided to communicate the impact, utilization, and ongoing maintenance of these sections of the IDHI Trauma Program. The PSA works under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Manager (CSM) and the direction of the RN(s); performs tasks and duties for which they possess the competency that do not require a licensed practitioner.  In the clerical support role, duties include assisting with processing of medical records for patient admission and discharge and receptionist for the nursing unit. - Acquires initial and ongoing competencies for clinical care and clerical components - Assists the care team in providing efficient, effective patient care - Demonstrates competency in obtaining, maintaining and using equipment necessary for patient care and clerical support - Documents care given according to standards - Uses appropriate written and verbal communication - Respects patient’s privacy and confidentiality - Takes a proactive approach towards assisting patients, visitors and other staff - Adheres to departmental attendance standards and responds to unit staffing needs -  Adheres to UAMS safety plan - Complies with safety instructions and observes safe work practices - Provides input on safety issues - May be exposed to cleaning agents, blood and body fluids. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases - Adheres to UAMS Code of Conduct - Adheres to Clinical Programs and PRI Departmental policies and dress code standards - Works effectively with team/work groups to fulfill UAMS mission - Should be familiar with, and able to access the online policies from PRI, UAMS and Nursing Service - Participates in ongoing hospital performance assessment and process improvement - Participates in continuing education, professional/ institutional advancement opportunities. - May perform other duties.
