Performs annual evaluations and associated supervisory functions for TRI program managers. 30% Responsible for overseeing the management and coordination of TRI educational activities including regular series (e.g. innOVATION, Research Fundamentals, the summer  Translational Research Innovations and Partners (TRIP) program for first and second year medical students), annual workshop series (e.g., Mentor Maters, Going Digital: Innovations to Enhance Research), annual conferences (e.g., Regulatory Conference, TRI Research Day) and other special education events. This includes overseeing the management and coordination of UAMS Continuing Medical Education procedures when applicable, and the evaluation of all the above mentioned events. 15% Oversee the management and coordination of ARresearch.org (ARR) activities, managed by a TRI senior program manager. That position’s duties include: implementation of activities designed to achieve goals and objectives of ARR. Activities include coordination of meetings, working with community contacts to allow for ARR participation in events, and coordinating logistics for all ARR events around the state (i.e., Arkansas State Fair, Minority Health Commission events, Senior Expo, and other health-related events). Promotion of investigator usage of ARR and provide data to researchers as appropriate. Prepare presentation materials and speak to local audiences on how to use and access ARR. Draft annual progress reports related to ARR activity. 10% Performs administrative and other duties as assigned, including meetings, research, and other functions as needed to support the mission of the institute.
